CORRIGENDUM AND ADDENDUM

This is with reference to advertisement No.PGI/RC/027/2014 dated 25.6.2014

and addendum published in the newspapers on 25th July 2014. It is for the information of all

concerned that the Online Examination for recruitment to the posts of Sister Grade-II, Jr.

Technician (Lab and X-ray) and Operation Theatre Assistant which was held at various Centres on 08.11.2014 has been scrapped. The written examination for recruitment to the said posts shall now be held by Paper Pencil Mode and the exam will be held on 1st February, 2015.

The vacancy position for the said posts has been revised as under:-

Note: 13, 6, 2 and 1 posts of Sister Grade-II, Junior Technician (Lab), Junior Technician (X-ray)

and Operation Theatre Assistant respectively are reserved for physically handicapped

(OL) category).

It is further notified that the candidates who are willing to apply for the said

posts due to change in the mode of examination from online mode to Paper Pencil Mode of

examination may now apply online through the Institute’s website www.pgimer.edu.in.

However, the candidates who have already applied against the aforesaid advertisement need

not apply again. It is also notified that the Centre of written examination by paper pencil mode

of the candidates who will apply now shall be at Chandigarh (Tricity) only and the Centre of

examination for the candidates who have applied earlier shall remain at the City as per their

option exercised earlier. For further details like eligibility, pay scale etc., the candidates may

refer to general instructions/guidelines displayed on the website of the Institute. The date of

online registration of application form is from 16.12.2014 to 05.01.2015 (23.59 hours) and the

last date of deposit of application fee is 07.01.2015. The candidates should check the Institute

website by mid January for their centre details.

The other terms and conditions of appointment notice shall remain unchanged.
